These manipulated clips, seen on social media, falsely show him endorsing fraudulent digital platforms. Victims are tricked into signing up on a site registered in Cyprus and are asked to provide credit card details and OTPs.
Once money is sent, scammers disappear and block all contact. The SEC urges the public to avoid suspicious ads or social media pages using celebrity endorsements.
