Camacho, a notable figure in both Philippine and international business circles, brings extensive experience to his new role, the company said in a statement.
He currently serves as chairman of SunLife Canada (Philippines) and the University of Arts Singapore, and has held senior positions at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and Bankers Trust.
His extensive background includes roles as the Philippines’ Secretaries of Energy and Finance during the administration of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
Camacho's appointment is expected to bolster NAC's strategic direction, the firm said.
Additionally, NAC announced James J.K. Hung as an independent director. Hung, with a robust background in finance and renewable energy, is the chairman of Asia Securities Global Group and ASG Inspiration Lab.
These appointments signal NAC's commitment to leveraging seasoned expertise to drive future growth and sustainability initiatives, the company said.
