Torre Lorenzo Development Corp., a Philippine-based real estate developer known for student residences and integrated communities, has broken ground on Crest Suites at Tierra Davao, marking a strategic expansion of its hospitality portfolio outside Metro Manila.

The move reflects growing investor and developer confidence in Davao’s tourism and business outlook. By entering the serviced hospitality segment in the city, Torre Lorenzo is positioning itself to capture demand from corporate travelers, long-stay guests, and investors seeking recurring income streams.

Crest Suites is designed as a hybrid hospitality development that blends modern amenities with practical living solutions for mobile professionals and frequent travelers. It will offer features such as a fitness center, jogging path, children’s playground, paw park, yoga and meditation garden, and function rooms. 

The project positioning, as described in a company release, highlights its appeal to guests looking for both comfort and efficiency within a community setting.

The big picture

The project is part of Tierra Davao, Torre Lorenzo’s integrated-use development that also includes Dusit Thani Residence Davao, dusitD2 Hotel, and the upcoming Crown Residences. 

Located along Maryknoll Drive, the estate provides access to business districts, schools, malls, and hospitals, while offering expansive views of the Davao Gulf.
