Filinvest City lifts Botanika's luxury appeal

Insider Spotlight

  • Filinvest City’s master-planned design strengthens Botanika’s premium positioning
  • Luxury residential demand increasingly tied to sustainability and urban livability
  • World recognition underscores long-term value proposition for Alabang development

The global recognition of Filinvest City is reinforcing the investment case for luxury residences within the Alabang central business district, with Filigree positioning Botanika Nature Residences as a beneficiary of the estate’s master-planned urban design.

The momentum follows Filinvest City’s Gold award in the Master Plan category at the 2026 FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards, making it the first Philippine development to receive the distinction.

Rather than focusing solely on the recognition, Filigree said the award validates the planning principles that underpin Botanika Nature Residences and support long-term property value.

Why it matters

Buyers in the premium residential market are increasingly evaluating not only the quality of individual developments but also the sustainability, connectivity and long-term viability of the communities where they are located.

Botanika Nature Residences sits within the 244-hectare Filinvest City, a garden CBD designed around integrated green spaces, business districts and lifestyle destinations.

The project dedicates 70 percent of its site to gardens, open areas and shared outdoor environments, reflecting its focus on wellness-oriented urban living.

By the numbers

Botanika has earned a 4-Star BERDE Certification and a 3-Star Health and Well-being Certification from the Philippine Green Building Council, becoming the first residential development in the country to secure both recognitions.

Two Botanika also received the 5-Star Best Sustainable Residential Development Philippines award at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2026–2027.

Architect-of-record Andy Locsin of Leandro V. Locsin Partners said in a press statement: “One of the core values of this project is the ability to live an environmentally-ethical life. I think that is one of the aspects that the clients are looking for.”

Between the lines

Filigree said Botanika was conceived as more than a luxury condominium, bringing together sustainability, wellness and low-density living through collaborations with Leandro V. Locsin Partners, Architecture International (now SmithGroup), AECOM Singapore, Miaja Design Group and Periquet Galicia Inc.

The company added that Botanika Tower 1, now ready for occupancy, has more than doubled in value since launch, while Two Botanika is currently in its pre-selling phase, underscoring confidence in the long-term appeal of master-planned communities. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
