Meralco’s MPower signs energy supply deal with PCPPI

MPower, the local retail electricity supply arm of Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Manila Electric Co., has entered into a retail supply agreement with Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. (PCPPI) to provide power to its two beverage manufacturing plants in Muntinlupa City and Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

As part of this partnership, PCPPI will also participate in MPower’s community-focused programs, including the annual tree-planting initiative, CommuniTrees, and iMPower, a corporate social responsibility effort centered on enhancing access to quality education.
