The Department of Transportation welcomed President Marcos’s focus on the “railway renaissance.”
The President also highlighted that the right of way issues should be resolved in an expeditious manner so that the infrastructure development will be on track and without delay.
“We will make sure that the right-of-way issues are resolved in the most most equitable, efficient, and expeditious manner, so that these will not get in the way of our infrastructure development,” President Marcos said during this third State of Nation Address on Monday.
Projects mentioned included ongoing construction activities at the Metro Manila Subway Project, North- South Commuter Railway, Metro Rail Transit Line-7, Light Rail Transit Line-1 Cavite Extension Project, and PNR Bicol Line.
