Priced at an introductory P3.998 million, the seven-seat hybrid luxury van is positioned to compete with high-end models such as the Toyota Alphard and Lexus LM.
The move marks BYD’s push into higher-margin premium segments as it expands its presence in the country’s rapidly evolving electric vehicle market.
Hybrid performance
The DENZA D9 features the brand’s Super DM-i system, combining a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with dual electric motors.
The electrified powertrain delivers a driving range of up to 980 kilometers, allowing the vehicle to operate efficiently in both city traffic and long-distance travel.
Inside, the van offers executive-class amenities including zero-gravity massage seats, a 15.6-inch infotainment display, a 14-speaker Dynaudio sound system, and a built-in smart refrigerator.
Executive buyers
The luxury van segment in the Philippines has grown steadily as corporate executives, business owners, and high-net-worth families increasingly favor chauffeur-driven vehicles over traditional luxury sedans.
Early buyers can avail of the P3.998 million premiere price until March 31, with the vehicle available through authorized DENZA dealerships in Makati, Alabang, Greenhills, and Cebu.
