Held under the “One Geely” framework, the conference gathered international partners, senior leadership, and leading automotive retail groups to present the company’s global strategy, 2030 roadmap, and technology direction.
Global targets
Geely executives outlined ambitious goals for 2030, including global sales exceeding 6.5 million units and a top-five ranking among the world’s automakers by volume.
The company is also targeting a 75-percent share for new energy vehicles and aims to generate more than one-third of total sales from overseas markets.
Geely Auto Group reported strong growth, delivering 3.025 million vehicles in 2025, up 39 percent year-on-year, and posting 709,400 units sold in the first quarter of 2026.
One Geely
For international partners, the conference emphasized that the “One Geely” strategy is a global operating framework rather than a simple export model.
“Grab opportunities and grow together. Geely’s globalization is a ‘World+,’ instead of a simple extension of ‘China+,’” said Alex Nan, vice president of Geely Auto Group and CEO of Geely Auto International Corp.
The approach highlights collaboration with global partners, positioning overseas markets as integral to the company’s long-term growth.
Facility visits
Delegates were also given firsthand exposure to Geely’s technology and manufacturing capabilities.
In Ningbo, the Philippine delegation toured the Geely Auto Safety Center, a 45,000-square-meter facility opened in December 2025. Built with an investment of over RMB 2 billion, it supports advanced safety testing, including crash simulations, battery safety, and cybersecurity for connected vehicles.
The center also holds five Guinness World Records, including the world’s longest indoor crash test track.
Advanced manufacturing
Participants also visited the Zeekr Intelligent Factory in Hangzhou Bay, a sprawling complex integrating 5G, artificial intelligence, and automated production systems.
The facility features 7,200-ton die-casting machines and hundreds of flexible welding robots, supporting the production of Geely’s intelligent electric vehicles.
Local impact
For Philippine partners, the program provided deeper insight into the systems behind the Geely brand.
Industry executives noted that vehicle ownership involves not just product quality, but also trust in dealer support, financing, after-sales service, and long-term brand stability.
Strategic role
As Geely advances toward its 2030 goals, markets such as the Philippines are seen as key contributors to its global growth.
