The company said its people-first approach to AI adoption is designed to help employees work smarter, improve productivity, and create greater value for customers and the business.
"At Globe, we see AI as an enabler of human potential," said Renato "Ato" Jiao, Globe's chief human resource officer.
"Our goal is not simply to adopt new technologies, but to equip our people with the tools, skills, and confidence to thrive in an AI-enabled workplace. When our employees succeed, they create better experiences for our customers and stronger outcomes for the business," he said.
People first
Human Resources has become a key driver of Globe's AI transformation by embedding the technology into employee learning, development, and workplace experience.
Employees have access to an intelligent virtual assistant that streamlines HR services, making workplace information easier to access and support more responsive. Structured AI learning programs and hands-on training also help employees build practical AI skills at different proficiency levels.
To support everyday work, Globe provides an AI-powered knowledge platform that simplifies access to company policies, benefits, and workplace resources. AI-assisted mentoring and skills development programs connect employees with relevant learning opportunities, while secure productivity tools automate routine tasks so employees can focus on higher-value work that requires creativity, critical thinking, and sound judgment.
Real results
The investments have translated into measurable gains.
Today, more than 80 percent of Globe employees have access to AI productivity tools, while over 2,500 employees have completed AI learning programs.
Employees have also developed more than 30 AI-powered tools and bots that support procurement, quality assurance, customer engagement, data analytics, and network operations.
According to Globe, 84 percent of employees reported higher productivity after adopting AI-powered workflows, saving an average of three to four hours each week.
The employee-developed AI solutions are likewise delivering operational improvements. AI-powered quality audits have reduced costs and manual work, while a procurement chatbot now handles about 1,500 inquiries monthly. AI-driven customer personalization has improved engagement and revenue, while intelligent network monitoring has achieved a 90-percent fault detection rate and reduced service restoration time by 70 percent.
Future ready
Globe said technology creates the greatest value when paired with human expertise.
The company continues to promote responsible AI adoption by encouraging continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation, enabling employees to use AI to improve decision-making and customer experiences.
Its workforce initiatives also reflect broader global trends. The World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025 found that 86 percent of employers expect AI and information-processing technologies to transform their businesses by 2030, while 77 percent plan to upskill and reskill their workforce.
Recognized as a Great Place To Work®, Globe said it remains committed to building a resilient, future-ready organization by helping employees embrace emerging technologies with confidence while delivering stronger value to customers, communities, partners, and shareholders. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
