The venture will cover the development of a 40,000-square-meter industrial property, including a warehouse and production facility, through two new corporations: CSC-GETO Realty Corp. (CGRC) to manage the property and GETO-CSC Formworks Inc. (GCFI) to operate the plant.
Boosting construction efficiency
The facility will manufacture advanced formworks systems to meet growing demand in the Philippine construction and infrastructure sectors.
GETO will provide world-class technology, expertise, and equipment, while CSC will contribute prime land and operational leadership, supported by resources from Asiabest Group International Inc. (ABG). CSC is set to become an ABG subsidiary by the second quarter of 2026.
“We are setting the stage for a transformative industrial project that will boost local employment, enhance construction efficiency,” said CSC chair Engr. Francis Lloyd Chua.
“More importantly, we are working hand in hand with the government to address the nation’s housing needs,” Chua added.
Regional production hub
GETO International general manager Lian Jie said the partnership will not only bring cutting-edge formworks to the Philippines but also create a production hub for the ASEAN market.
The Memorandum of Agreement was signed on Aug. 12, 2025, and witnessed by Secretary Frederick Go, Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs.
The project is expected to generate jobs, transfer advanced building technologies, strengthen local supply chains, and directly support the government’s housing and infrastructure programs. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
