The delivery signals the budget carrier’s push to meet fast-growing travel demand while keeping operations cost-efficient.
Largest A330neo fleet in Asia Pacific
The widebody A330neo is also the 12th in Cebu Pacific’s fleet, making it the largest A330neo operator in the Asia-Pacific.
The 459-seat aircraft, fresh from Airbus’ facility in Toulouse, France, is the second of four A330neos arriving this year. In all, seven aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2025 as Cebu Pacific strengthens its network for regional and long-haul flights.
Management’s view
“Reaching 100 aircraft is more than a milestone — it reflects our unwavering commitment to make air travel accessible to more Filipinos,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer.
“With a larger fleet, we’re able to operate more efficiently, enhance connectivity across the country and the region, and pass on the benefits of scale through even lower fares.”
Passenger numbers climb
The A330neo burns up to 25 percent less fuel per flight and emits less noise, helping Cebu Pacific reduce costs and carbon output as it grows.
The milestone coincides with continued growth in passenger traffic. Cebu Pacific flew 2.2 million passengers in June 2025, up 7.9 percent from a year earlier.
From January to June, it carried 13.9 million passengers, a 21 percent jump from 11.5 million in the first half of 2024, underscoring strong market recovery.
With a young and diversified fleet of 12 Airbus A330s, 40 Airbus A320s, 26 Airbus A321s, and 22 ATR turboprops, Cebu Pacific now operates the widest domestic and regional network in the Philippines.
