A hot pot sensation

Founded in 1994 in Sichuan, China, Haidilao—which translates to "fishing in the bottom of the sea"—has become a global dining sensation. With hundreds of locations worldwide, it is known for its fresh ingredients, flavorful broths, and exceptional hospitality.

More than just a meal, hot pot is a shared experience, making it a perfect fit for Filipinos who love family gatherings and communal dining.

At Haidilao, guests can customize their experience by selecting up to four soup bases per table—from the signature Sichuan spicy broth to milder options like tomato, mushroom, or the Filipino-favorite bulalo

Diners can enjoy a wide selection of ingredients, including thinly sliced beef, fresh seafood, vegetables, tofu, and handmade dumplings. Haidilao’s expert staff are available to assist those who don’t know and don’t want to cook.

For those who love experimenting, Haidilao’s Unlimited Sauce Bar—available for P99—offers endless combinations of condiments to personalize each dipping experience.

Luxury dining with pampering

Dining at Haidilao isn’t just about great food—it’s about being pampered. While waiting for a table, guests can enjoy free snacks, ice cream, manicures, and hand massages.

Families will appreciate special gifts for kids, while expectant mothers receive adorable baby socks. Even seniors and persons with disabilities are given thoughtful attention.

The restaurant boasts 284 seats (around 50 tables), including a semi-enclosed outdoor dining space with a scenic view of the historic EDSA Shrine. Its 10 VIP rooms—six of which are in an air-conditioned outdoor area—can be combined to host up to 48 guests, making it ideal for special gatherings.

A feast for the senses

To make the dining experience even more exciting, Haidilao incorporates Chinese cultural performances. At peak meal times, guests can watch a thrilling face-changing Sichuan opera performance, as well as the noodle-making demonstrations.

Above all, Haidilao is known for its legendary service. Whether providing cleaning wipes, aprons, hair ties, or simply making each guest feel like royalty, the staff ensure a truly unforgettable dining experience.

Haidilao now operates over 1,000 restaurants across China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, and more. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
