Ayala Group relaunches B2B-focused KonsultaMD to tap into P1-T PH healthcare market

KonsultaMD, the Philippines' leading tech-enabled healthcare platform, has made a strategic pivot into the business-to-business (B2B) sector, a few years after its initial launch as a retail-focused operation.

The relaunched platform is part of the Ayala Group’s attempt to break into the country’s P1-trillion healthcare market, by promoting comprehensive employee wellness programs through innovative technologies and strategies.

Friday’s relaunch in Makati City brought together industry leaders and healthcare experts to explore three key areas: the Philippine healthcare landscape, the role of health tech in enhancing employee wellness, and the impact of innovative health initiatives on productivity.

Cindy Burdette, Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the strategic shift: "KonsultaMD recognizes the significant role employers play in healthcare. Our goal is to maximize health and wellness initiatives through telehealth services and wellness journeys."

KonsultaMD's entry into the B2B space aims to transform workplace wellness, focusing on preventive healthcare to improve health outcomes.
