AirAsia Philippines issued an important advisory for passengers scheduled to fly on the evening of July 10 this year. Due to a planned system upgrade, the airline urges all guests to complete their check-in through airasia.com or the AirAsia MOVE App at least two days before departure to avoid any disruptions.
The system upgrade will commence at 7:00 p.m. on July 10 and is expected to conclude by 3:00 a.m. on July 11.
During this period, online transactions, including bookings, check-ins, and bag drop services at all AirAsia-operated airports, will be temporarily unavailable. Additionally, the AirAsia MOVE app services, such as managing bookings, payments, and purchasing add-ons, will also be affected.
Passengers requiring medical or special assistance are advised to arrive at the airport before 7:00 PM to ensure their needs are adequately met.
New features coming
“AirAsia’s system upgrade, which includes the updating of its New Skies software, is expected to fast track all online transactions (mobile app and on ground) from booking, payment, flight schedule modification, check-in and purchase of add-ons, providing guests with enhanced customer experience,” Steve Dailisan, AirAsia Philippines head of communications, said in a statement.
“Guests can also expect more add-on features with the AirAsia MOVE as a result of the system upgrade,” he added.
