St. Joseph Drug, a long-established pharmacy chain in North Luzon, has opened its first Metro Manila branch inside Healthway FEU-NRMF Medical Center, marking a new step in AC Health’s push to build an integrated healthcare ecosystem.

The launch also introduces St. Joseph Drug’s pioneering outpatient store format, putting a full-service pharmacy directly within a hospital to make buying medicine faster and more convenient for patients and visitors.

St. Joseph Drug has nearly 130 stores and 67 years of retail pharmacy history, bringing its provincial stronghold brand into the Metro Manila market.

Management’s view

“For us at AC Health, this reflects how synergy across our ecosystem comes to life,” said Paolo Borromeo, President & CEO of AC Health.

“By working together across our ecosystem, we turn integration into real, everyday impact as we continue to Transform Health for Every Filipino.”

AC Health ecosystem push

Healthway FEU-NRMF is the only Level 3 hospital in Quezon City District 3, giving the new branch a high-traffic location within Healthway Medical Network.

“Our mission has always been clear: to serve every community — whether big or small, urban or rural — and to make healthcare accessible to all. This partnership with Healthway FEU-NRMF Medical Center is more than just a collaboration; it is a stepping stone toward AC Health Group’s shared vision of transforming health for every Filipino,” said Paolo C. Bernal, St. Joseph Drug’s Chief Strategy & Innovations Officer.
