Insider Spotlight
The partnership reflects how personalized services outside banking can help financial institutions differentiate their offerings as they compete for wealthy customers.
Beyond financial wealth
Through St. Luke's Corporate Business Center, Security Bank Wealth clients will receive personalized assistance in navigating healthcare services, including specialist referrals, medical consultations, and diagnostic procedures.
The arrangement also provides executive lounge access and dedicated support during inpatient hospital admissions. All Wealth clients will receive preferred rates on selected health screening packages.
Security Bank president and CEO Victor Lee said the initiative recognizes that wealth management extends beyond protecting financial assets.
"For years, we've helped clients build, grow, and protect their wealth. But we also know that financial security is only one part of a well-lived life," Lee said.
Healthcare as a wealth privilege
The partnership introduces healthcare convenience as another component of Security Bank's wealth management proposition, complementing its traditional focus on investments and financial security.
For affluent customers, personalized healthcare assistance could provide additional value by reducing the administrative burden associated with scheduling consultations, arranging diagnostic procedures, and navigating hospital admissions.
St. Luke's Medical Center president and CEO Dr. Dennis P. Serrano emphasized the importance of protecting clients' health while making medical services more accessible.
“Together with Security Bank, we are safeguarding their clients’ most essential assets: their health and their time.” Serrano said.
Strengthening client relationships
The concierge healthcare program was formally launched on October 15 at Manila Polo Club, where Security Bank introduced clients to the partnership's benefits.
By incorporating healthcare assistance into its wealth management offering, Security Bank is positioning personalized lifestyle services as part of its broader strategy to deepen relationships with affluent customers.
The initiative also illustrates how financial institutions can expand their value proposition beyond managing money to addressing other priorities in clients' lives. —Ramon C. Nocon | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
