The transition is powered by ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES), which supplies energy from solar, wind, and geothermal sources across the country.
ACEN RES vice president for legal, Atty. John Henry Liquete, noted that more organizations are now choosing renewable power not just for sustainability, but also for long-term business value.
The switch is made possible through the Department of Energy’s Green Energy Option Program (GEOP), which allows large consumers to choose renewable energy suppliers.
This partnership adds to the growing momentum of clean energy adoption across Metro Manila’s real estate sector.
By tapping renewables, the tower will avoid an estimated 2,200 tons of carbon emissions per year, the equivalent of removing 8.8 million kilometers of car travel or planting over 100,000 mature trees.
