Insider Spotlight
The company is positioning its on-demand labeling and textile printing technologies as essential tools for manufacturers, retailers, logistics providers, and creator-led brands seeking flexibility amid tighter schedules and frequent packaging changes.
Why it matters
Year-end activity often forces rapid shifts in packaging, gift sets, and made-to-order merchandise.
Businesses that rely on outside suppliers for labels or apparel printing face delays, excess inventory, and higher waste. In-house printing gives teams greater control over timing and sustainability.
Driving the news
Epson is highlighting two flagship models designed to streamline operations during peak season: the ColorWorks C8050 label printer and the SureColor SC-G6030, its first DTFilm textile printer.
These devices allow businesses to update designs on the spot, respond to daily production shifts, and reduce downtime historically caused by outsourcing or long lead times.
The labeling advantage
The ColorWorks C8050 supports a wide range of label materials used for barcodes, batch details, food storage instructions, and seasonal packaging.
It is built for high-volume workflows and particularly helpful for teams managing frequent SKU changes. Food producers adjusting date labels or manufacturers rolling out limited holiday packaging can make quick updates without waiting for external printers.
On-demand apparel production
For custom merchandise, the SureColor SC-G6030 offers consistent, day-long output for T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, caps, and corporate giveaways.
A white ink circulation system, a fabric wiper, and large one-point-six-liter ink packs help minimize manual cleaning and reduce waste—a significant advantage for creators and corporate teams racing against tight holiday timelines.
What they’re saying
“We understand how demanding the holiday season can be for Filipino businesses,” Kusama Masako, president and director of Epson Philippines Corp., said in a press release on Nov, 28, 2025.
“Our goal is to provide tools they can trust—solutions that combine Epson’s heritage of innovation with sustainable practices. When businesses can adjust their labels or merchandise on-site, they respond more quickly and feel confident in their workflow.”
The big picture
Both devices integrate with Epson Cloud Solution PORT, giving teams remote visibility into printer status and maintenance needs.
As businesses navigate the holiday rush, Epson’s push for dependable, efficient, and eco-conscious solutions underscores its commitment to supporting smoother, more agile operations across the country. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
