Globe Telecom Inc. said it received an A- climate score from CDP, a global environmental disclosure platform used by investors and other stakeholders to assess climate action.

The company said the rating reflects its climate disclosures and programs, including climate scenario analysis conducted in 2021 to identify physical and transition risks.

Renewables, emissions data

Globe said it maintains a greenhouse gas inventory covering Scopes 1, 2, and 3, which informs its science-based targets and net-zero roadmap across its value chain by 2050.

“This CDP Climate Leader rating reflects disciplined action, strong governance, and a clear commitment to transparency,” said Yoly Crisanto, Globe’s chief sustainability and corporate communications officer.

38,000 green network solutions

Globe said it has shifted 171 cell sites, offices, and key facilities to renewable energy through power purchase agreements and deployed over 38,000 green network solutions, including fuel cells, hybrid generators, and lithium-ion batteries.

It said all postpaid SIMs it procured in 2024 were EcoSIMs, helping avoid the use of over 1,200 kilograms of virgin plastic.

For water, Globe said it reused more than 33,500 cubic meters of graywater in 2024 at The Globe Tower, cutting demand for freshwater.
