In a statement on Thursday, the PSE said the event will happen on Oct. 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
“PSE’s maiden Road to IPO forum was held in 2021, in time for the introduction of the Exchange’s Revised Listing Rules. We have always held this forum virtually to accommodate more participants and attendees from across the country,” said PSE president Ramon Monzon.
“This time, we feel that we should focus on those who are more serious about their IPO plans and give them access to the stakeholders in the capital market,” he added.
Who’s attending?
Partnering with the Securities and Exchange Commission and co-hosted by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office through MOBILIST, this event is set to offer crucial insights and guidance for companies looking to go public.
The forum will feature a presentation on “Capitalizing on Market Opportunities: Outlook and Investment Insights” and panel discussions, including “Lessons from Successful IPOs,” “MOBILIST and Sustainable Development,” and “Crafting a Compelling Narrative for Your Company.”
The MOBILIST fund previously participated in the PSE’s roadshows, which ultimately led to its role as a cornerstone investor in tycoon Edgar Saavedra’s Citicore Renewable Energy IPO.
Participants
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet top issue managers and underwriters, including BDO Capital & Investment Corp., China Bank Capital Corp., First Metro Investment Corp., Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines, PNB Capital and Investment Corp., and SB Capital Investment Corp., who will be available for consultations at their booths.
