This route will cater to residents of Central and Northern Luzon, eliminating the need to travel to Manila for Siargao connections.
The flights will be operated using 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft.
“We are excited to be able to fly and welcome leisure travelers back to Siargao via Clark once again,” PAL Express president Rabbi Vincent Ang said in a statement.
“As Siargao’s popularity soars, we stay committed to supporting the island’s tourism growth in a sustainable way for the benefit of its residents and local businesses, while providing an enhanced flying experience for our passengers.”
Siargao, known as the ‘Surfing Capital of the Philippines,’ is a popular tourist destination with over 120,000 residents and is renowned for its beaches, islets, lagoons, and recreational activities.
