Megaworld, Philippine Army team up for sustainability, patriotism

Tycoon Kevin Tan-led Megaworld Corp. and the Philippine Army have sealed a partnership to promote patriotism through the Army’s ‘Pag-Alab’ Program while expanding sustainability efforts nationwide.

The collaboration integrates Megaworld’s MEGreen initiative, reinforcing environmental responsibility alongside national pride. Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido, Philippine Army commanding general, and Megaworld president Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso led the ceremonial signing.

The agreement aims to foster deeper civic engagement while strengthening eco-friendly programs across communities. This marks a rare private-public alliance blending sustainability with nation-building.
