Kyla Uy, with an Ivy League background, has quietly stepped into the planning division to learn the ropes at the P120-billion fiber internet giant.
We’re told the Uy couple, while still young and far from retirement, is happy to see their daughter taking a keen interest in the family business.
It also helps that Kyla, who is armed with an economics degree from the University of Pennsylvania, gained valuable experience at the prestigious McKinsey consulting group, where she had direct exposure to several global tech giants.
“She already speaks the language of tech,” an insider shared.
Planning was seen as the perfect starting point for Kyla. And who knows? The next step could be operations and, maybe, even the boardroom once she gains enough experience.
