In a statement, the GSIS said MPL Lite offers loan amounts from ₱5,000 to ₱50,000, in multiples of ₱5,000, with flexible repayment options of six, 12, 18, or 24 months.
Interest rates, it said, are competitive, at 6 percent or 7 percent depending on the member’s years of service.
The loan comes with a one-time loan redemption insurance fee, no service fee for those with active MPL Flex account, and no early repayment fees.
GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso emphasized the program’s alignment with GSIS’s commitment to “deliver meaningful and significant products and services to our members.”
“With e-crediting, hassle-free access to funds, and a streamlined application process, government workers have a safe and reliable financial option at their fingertips,” he added.
Members can apply via the GSIS Touch mobile app, with approved funds credited within three days.
