GSIS Advances Pension Payments Ahead of April Holidays

In a proactive move, the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has announced the early release of pension payments for over 580,000 beneficiaries this Saturday, April 6, in anticipation of the upcoming national holidays.

Typically scheduled for the eighth of each month, the disbursement has been advanced to accommodate Araw ng Kagitingan on April 9 and Eid'l Fitr on April 10.

GSIS president Wick Veloso emphasized the decision's alignment with national celebrations, ensuring pensioners have access to their funds ahead of these significant dates.

Nearly P8 billion is allocated monthly for old-age and disability pensions, delivered electronically via UMID or eCard for convenient ATM withdrawals.

Additionally, the GSIS encourages the use of its GSIS Touch Mobile app for seamless transactions and information access during the holiday period.
