  • Travelers get 1GB free data valid for two days abroad
  • Partnership with Kolet expands connectivity to 190+ countries

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has introduced a new digital service — the myPAL eSIM — to keep its passengers connected while traveling overseas.

In collaboration with Kolet, the airline now offers 1GB of free mobile data valid for two days, giving travelers instant access to communication, navigation, and travel tools without relying on costly roaming or physical SIM cards.

How it works

Passengers can easily redeem the complimentary data by visiting the PAL-Kolet co-branded website or through the Kolet mobile app, using the promo code FLYPAL.

After using the free data, customers can top up through either platform and choose from regional or global plans that last up to 30 days.

Kolet’s eSIM technology ensures reliable mobile coverage in over 190 destinations, backed by partnerships with leading telecom providers. This allows PAL travelers to enjoy uninterrupted access to travel information and digital services wherever they fly.

What they’re saying

“The introduction of myPAL eSIM aligns with our vision of providing a complete and digitally empowered travel experience,” Christoph Gaertner, PAL vice president for revenue management, said in a press release on Nov. 5, 2025.

“We are proud to offer our passengers a solution that not only simplifies connectivity but also enhances their overall journey with Philippine Airlines.”

The big picture

The launch marks another step in PAL’s digital transformation strategy, aimed at making the end-to-end travel experience seamless and efficient—from booking flights to arrival.

With myPAL eSIM, the flag carrier underscores its commitment to enhancing passenger convenience through tech-driven innovations that bridge the gap between air travel and digital mobility. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
