The launch follows DITO’s fourth consecutive recognition as the country’s top-rated mobile network by Ookla, marking another milestone in the company’s push to make technology a driver of inclusive growth.
Driving MSME digitalization
DITO president Eric Alberto said BizBayan was “conceived to meet the dynamic and evolving demands of Filipino MSMEs — delivering scalable, cost-efficient, and high-performance digital services and solutions.
“These are not mere offerings; they are imperative instruments of transformation,” he said.
The BizBayan platform offers tailored solutions ranging from connectivity to managed IT and digital marketing services. Its entry-level Konektado Negosyo Bundle starts at P1,150 per month, offering unlimited 5G connectivity of up to 100 Mbps and a CCTV unit. A P1,650 plan provides up to 500 Mbps speeds and an outdoor CCTV unit.
Public-private partnership push
Trade Secretary Ma. Cristina A. Roque and Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Eunina Mangio attended the event, emphasizing the public-private sector’s shared goal of empowering MSMEs.
Their participation underscored the government’s recognition that digital access is vital for competitiveness and inclusive economic growth — especially as small businesses remain the backbone of the Philippine economy.
Network strength as foundation
BizBayan head Gabby Cui said DITO’s consistent Ookla performance “is the very foundation of DITO BizBayan.”
“This four-peat victory is a testament to the consistency and high quality of our network,” he said.
Chief revenue officer Adel Tamano added that the initiative complements DITO’s “KAYA DITO” campaign, encouraging entrepreneurs to “dream bigger, reach higher, and demand more” from digital connectivity.
With BizBayan, DITO is positioning itself not just as a telecom provider, but as a key enabler of the country’s digital economy. —Daxim L. Lucas | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
