JuanSIM ng Bayan aims to provide subsidized SIM cards and internet to 510 sites by 2025, with the Department of Education (DepEd) overseeing distribution.
The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) will support the rollout by enhancing rural telecom systems.
PSAC is also working with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), and the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) to develop AI-driven innovation and workforce readiness programs.
