This backdrop framed GSCCCII’s end-of-term report, where president Miguel Dominguez outlined how the Chamber translated that growth into concrete gains for its members.
GenSan’s growth outpaces the nation
Dominguez highlighted initiatives that expanded market reach—from logistics discussions with 2Go to cross-border opportunities through the India Business Forum—while also addressing talent needs through a free virtual assistant training program.
Community readiness remained part of the agenda, seen in the AED-Ready GenSan initiative with Dadiangas Med to widen access to life-saving equipment across commercial areas.
Real impact
The Chamber’s advocacy gained traction through coordinated work with the LGU under Mayor Pacquiao, congressional offices, and the Mindanao Development Authority.
Membership rose from 176 to 288, a 63.64 percent surge that reflected higher engagement and confidence in the Chamber’s direction.
GSCCCII’s expanded footprint was recognized with back-to-back awards as the Most Outstanding Chamber in Mindanao (City Level, Large Category) in 2024 and 2025.
