Even among the Philippines’ richest, the wealth gap appears to be widening. Enrique Razon Jr. retained the top spot in the 2026 Forbes Philippines’ 50 Richest list with an estimated net worth of $21.8 billion, remaining comfortably ahead of the rest of the country’s billionaire class.
Razon owns International Container Terminal Services, the global ports giant whose valued topped P2 trillion, Bloomberry Resorts, Prime Infrastructure and Apex Mining.
The Sy siblings, the family behind the SM Group, remained second with $9.2 billion, while San Miguel Corp. president and CEO Ramon Ang climbed to third with $3.5 billion.
Villar slides
The widening gap was underscored by the sharp decline in Manuel Villar’s fortune, which fell from $11.5 billion and third place last year to $2.4 billion and ninth this year.
Villar’s businesses span real estate, retail and power.
Familiar names on the list
Lucio and Susan Co ranked fourth with $3.3 billion, followed by Isidro Consunji and siblings with $3 billion and Lucio Tan with $2.9 billion. Jaime Zobel de Ayala and family placed seventh with $2.8 billion, ahead of the Que Azcona family with $2.5 billion, Villar and the Ty siblings with $2.3 billion.
