The company recently bagged the P2.7-billion contract to build key sections of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAx) Subsection 1 in Kawit, Cavite, along with Megaworld Corp.’s Arcovia Hotel in Pasig City.
“These new project wins mark a significant turnaround for EEI, reflecting our resilience, competitiveness in the industry, and renewed growth momentum,” said EEI senior vice ptesident and head of commercial and operations, Anna Payawal-Figuera.
“More than expanding our portfolio, this infrastructure and building projects reaffirm our commitment to nation-building by helping drive economic growth, enabling connectivity, and delivering facilities that uplift the lives of our people and our communities,” she added.
The CALAx deal, awarded by MPCALA Holdings Inc., covers roadworks, drainage, and related structures to ease traffic between Cavite and Laguna.
Meanwhile, the Arcovia Hotel project includes civil, structural, and finishing works, underscoring EEI’s push in both infrastructure and property development.
