Phinma Insulated Panels Touted for Climate Change, Food Security Challenges

Phinma Corp. recently began the construction of a multimillion-peso manufacturing plant to produce insulated panels, aiming to address climate change and enhance food security in the Philippines.

Union Insulated Panel Corporation (UIPC), part of Phinma Construction Materials Group (CMG), broke ground on the state-of-the-art facility in Porac, Pampanga.

With an annual production capacity of one million square meters, the new plant will supply top-quality materials for cold chain facilities, improving efficiency and operations, the company said in a statement.

UIPC COO Danielle del Rosario highlighted the panels' role in modernizing supply chains and preserving temperature-sensitive goods.

Phinma CMG CEO Eduardo Sahagun emphasized that the insulated panels will improve energy efficiency and storage solutions, aiding the agricultural sector in the face of climate challenges. 

Phinma said the project exemplifies its commitment to sustainable business solutions and improving the lives of Filipinos.

Phinma officials break ground for the new plant which will produce an estimated one million square meters of insulated panels annually.
