That strategy earned Jollibee eight honors at the 22nd Philippine Quill Awards, including two Awards of Excellence and six Awards of Merit across marketing, advertising and brand communication, special and experiential events, and digital communication.
Why it matters
For one of the Philippines’ most recognizable consumer brands, the campaigns show how emotional brand equity can stretch beyond traditional advertising into experiences designed to generate cultural relevance and engagement.
“For us, joy is not simply a brand message. It is something we want people to experience through the work we create,” said Dorothy Ching, vice president for marketing of Jollibee Philippines.
“Whether we are helping children discover the joy of learning, giving Filipino talents a bigger stage, or creating moments that bring families and communities together, these recognitions inspire us to keep finding more meaningful ways to make a difference.”
Driving excellence
Jollibee Kids Values Meal: Reimagining Mealtime as a National Platform for Joyful Learning and Jollibee GameJoy Combos secured the company’s two Awards of Excellence.
The six Awards of Merit, the company said in a release, covered initiatives including 1000 Kilometers of Joy with Natalie Dau, the Bida Best, Bida Pinoy campaigns, #ChristmasJOYDay and The #JOYDelivered Christmas Delivery Campaign.
The honors were presented at Solaire Resort in Parañaque. Organized by the International Association of Business Communicators Philippines, the Philippine Quill Awards evaluates business communication programs based on strategy, execution and results.
