“Through our integrated reports, stakeholders can get a close look at all our financial, governance, environmental, and social strategies.”

“We thank CSRWorks International for recognizing all the efforts we exerted in producing our 2024 Integrated Report,” Agnes de Jesus, chief sustainability officer of First Philippine Holdings, First Gen’s parent firm, said in a press release on Nov. 12, 2025.

“This recognition reaffirms our longstanding policy to use our integrated reports as a medium to present ourselves in a comprehensive fashion to our various stakeholders.”

Why it matters

Integrated reporting links strategy, governance, performance, and prospects—providing a 360-degree view of how an organization creates value over time.

For First Gen, this approach reflects its core mission to deliver clean, low-carbon energy while remaining transparent about environmental and social impacts.

“Through our integrated reports, stakeholders can get a close look at all our financial, governance, environmental, and social strategies,” De Jesus added. “These include steps we are taking in support of the global campaign against climate change.”

First Gen’s award-winning Integrated Report shows how integrated thinking and climate leadership can power a more sustainable future.

The big picture

Rajesh Chhabara, founder of AIRA and managing director of CSRWorks International, noted that First Gen’s report “demonstrates how transparency and integrated thinking can drive value creation. Their report exemplifies how leading organizations are bridging financial and nonfinancial performance to build resilience and long-term trust.”

AIRA, the region’s premier platform for recognizing excellence in integrated reporting, drew entries from top companies across seven countries this year.

It underscores how integrated thinking—once a niche practice—is fast becoming essential for companies navigating sustainability challenges and regulatory shifts.
