Robinsons Land to open upscale Grand Summit Hotel in Pangasinan

Robinsons Land Corp.  (RLC) is set to expand its hospitality portfolio in Northern Luzon with Grand Summit Pangasinan, the first Luzon-based property under its premium Grand Summit brand and the province’s only branded hospitality offering.

Slated to open in 2027, the seven-story hotel will be located along the Dagupan–Urdaneta Road in Calasiao, Pangasinan, and will be seamlessly integrated into the Robinsons Pangasinan Mall complex.

The development will mark a significant milestone for RLC’s hospitality arm, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR), and underscores the group’s commitment to inclusive growth through regional expansion.

Upscale hospitality in a strategic location

Grand Summit Pangasinan will feature 100 well-appointed rooms, including 93 standard rooms, four junior suites, and three executive suites ranging from 38 to 116 square meters. Amenities include an all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge, pool bar, outdoor dining area, ballroom, meeting rooms, gym, spa, and outdoor swimming pool.

“Northern Luzon continues to evolve as a dynamic hub for travel and commerce, and Calasiao stands out as a place where local character and regional connectivity come together,” said Barun Jolly, senior vice president at RLC and business unit general manager of Robinsons Hotels and Resorts.

“We purposefully design our hotels to reflect the unique energy of the places they rise in—and in Calasiao, we saw the perfect opportunity to create something that speaks to both leisure and business travelers,” Jolly added.

The Grand Summit brand blends locally inspired design with unpretentious luxury, offering authentic experiences for discerning travelers. It currently includes a flagship property in General Santos and will now expand its presence in Luzon’s fast-growing north.

Gateway to culture, business, and leisure

Positioned near Dagupan City, Lingayen, and San Carlos City, Calasiao provides a central base to explore Pangasinan’s cultural and natural landmarks.

Nearby attractions include the Saints Peter and Paul Parish Church, Dagupan Baywalk, and Our Lady of Manaoag Basilica. For leisure travelers, destinations like Hundred Islands and Cape Bolinao offer scenic escapes within a few hours’ drive.

Pangasinan is also a key economic hub, supported by seafood production, agriculture, and commerce.

Regional expansion and infrastructure integration

RLC’s Northern Luzon footprint includes retail centers in La Union, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Ilocos Norte, horizontal residential developments, office spaces for BPOs, and the Montclair Destination Estate in Porac, Pampanga. The Grand Summit Pangasinan builds on this foundation, offering a full-service hotel that supports both tourism and business needs. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
