Built for everyday needs
The Plaza Bagong Silang is positioned as a community mall and civic hub, designed to bring essential services, livelihood opportunities, and enhanced retail and dining experiences closer to one of Metro Manila’s largest urban populations, RLC said in a press statement.
The development also underscores RLC’s commitment to building better, more inclusive spaces that uplift local communities.
Now operating at a thriving 100 percent occupancy rate, the mall features a curated mix of essential retail and lifestyle brands—including groceries, general merchandise, appliances, technology shops, and health services such as Maxicare.
Popular dining chains such as Giligan’s, Greenwich, Paotsin, Potato Corner, Kyu Kyu Ramen 99, and Zus Coffee further round out the mall’s offerings, making it a convenient destination for daily errands and leisure.
“Robinsons Malls redefines what a community-focused mall should be—a development that seamlessly integrates retail, public services, and recreational spaces that help residents thrive,” Joel Lumanlan, vice president for marketing and operations of Robinsons Malls, said in the statement.
Designed for public service
Strategically located at the heart of Barangay Bagong Silang—near Gabriela Silang Elementary School and Sto. Niño de Bagong Silang Parish—the Plaza includes a modern retail complex complemented by a thoughtfully designed community center on the third floor.
“This dedicated civic space houses a health center, a multi-purpose hall, and a basketball court—facilities built to support the well-being, recreation, and everyday needs of families,” Lumanlan added.
Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan praised the partnership, saying, “We are happy to be in partnership with Robinsons Land, who has built not just a mall but a community hub that empowers our citizens through accessible services and inclusive spaces.”
Strengthening livelihoods through PPPs
RLC executive vice president and Robinsons Malls business unit general manager Faraday Go emphasized that the project reflects the company’s mission to uplift local communities.
“By integrating essential public facilities with a vibrant retail environment, we create spaces where people can connect, access services, and build opportunities within their neighborhood,” he said.
The Plaza Bagong Silang officially opened on Nov. 28, with distinguished guests including Congressman Oscar “OCA” Malapitan; Mayor Along Malapitan; RLC president and CEO Mybelle V.
