Lazada Philippines is strengthening its support for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through expanded government partnerships and the relaunch of its "LazGrow Together" campaign, an initiative designed to help Filipino entrepreneurs build and scale their brands in the digital economy.

The eCommerce platform said in a company release the initiative underscores its commitment to serving as more than an online marketplace by helping sellers build brands, strengthen consumer trust, and unlock long-term business growth through a guided and scalable digital commerce ecosystem.

Why it matters

Carrying the message "Grow Your Brand on Lazada," the renewed LazGrow Together campaign is anchored on three pillars: Encouraging entrepreneurs to embrace eCommerce with confidence, supporting sellers through structured onboarding and education, and equipping them with the tools, insights, and access needed to grow sustainably.

Lazada said the campaign aims to help MSMEs "sell right and sell wide," enabling entrepreneurs to establish an online presence while positioning their businesses for long-term growth.

Driving the news

Since October 2025, Lazada Philippines has expanded collaborations with the Department of Trade and Industry, the Department of Science and Technology, and Go Negosyo to strengthen MSME development.

The company has participated in more than 10 partnership events focused on digital upskilling, seller onboarding, and marketplace readiness, connecting with more than 300 aspiring brands and sellers.

Lazada also sees significant potential through the DOST network, which represents more than 7,000 MSMEs nationwide.

What's next

To further improve seller readiness, Lazada developed an Excel-based seller calculator that helps entrepreneurs better understand pricing, margins, and profitability in eCommerce.

The company said additional partnership programs are in the pipeline as it continues to expand its MSME growth agenda.

"MSMEs drive the Philippine economy, and our responsibility is to ensure they are fully equipped to thrive in the digital arena," Lazada Philippines CEO Carlos Barrera said.

"Through the LazGrow Together initiative and our vital partnerships with key institutions, we are proudly shaping a more inclusive, empowered, and dynamic digital marketplace for Filipino businesses."

Bottom line

Lazada said it will continue working with government agencies and ecosystem partners to broaden access to eCommerce opportunities while strengthening consumer confidence through platforms such as LazMall, which connects shoppers with verified brands and official stores. —-Princess Daisy C.
