The launch was marked by a tree planting activity at La Mesa Ecopark, where participants planted 250 seedlings in a dedicated area named in recognition of Rockwell Property Management Corp. (RPMC) and Rockwell Workspaces.
Manila Water said the initiative underscores the shared responsibility of both organizations to champion conservation efforts and support sustainable growth across the East Zone and beyond.
Partners reaffirm commitment to sustainability
A fellowship lunch at the Quirino Guest House Pavilion followed the activity, offering space for dialogue and partnership building. Messages of support were delivered by Manila Water president and CEO Jocot de Dios and chief administrative officer Boj Locsin via video, alongside remarks from EZBO group director Shoebe Hazel Caong.
RPMC senior manager Engr. Adan Neil Lacap, who oversees the company’s sustainability programs, reaffirmed Rockwell’s commitment to collaborative environmental action and lauded Manila Water’s effort to create a unified sustainability platform.
A total of 45 participants from RPMC and Rockwell Workspaces—including senior management—joined the event. Manila Water also presented a certificate of appreciation to acknowledge their involvement in the first-ever EcoSpark activity.
EcoSpark to drive collective environmental action
Positioned as an ongoing engagement platform, EcoSpark aims to integrate conservation activities into corporate partnerships, encouraging a community-wide approach to environmental responsibility.
Manila Water plans to expand the initiative with more planting activities and sustainability-focused collaborations aligned with its long-term ESG goals. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
