These initiatives aim to support and empower exporters across the country.
The Davao session focused on equipping micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) with strategies to enter and succeed in the global market. Key discussions covered financing options to support business expansion and ways to leverage international trade fairs for global exposure.
It also highlighted government programs, such as DTI’s Shared Services Facilities and the Asean Regional Integration Support by the EU (ARISE+) programs, providing invaluable resources for exporters.
Philexport president Sergio R. Ortiz-Luis Jr. emphasized the importance of these initiatives in helping MSMEs adapt to global demands, highlighting government partnerships as critical for boosting competitiveness.
One-on-one consultations with trade regulatory agencies were also offered, helping exporters better understand compliance requirements and optimize their processes.
The next PEDP sessions are scheduled for Cagayan de Oro, General Santos City, Metro Manila, and Laguna throughout October 2024, ensuring nationwide engagement for Philippine exporters.
