Consunji’s DMCI, Semirara continue governance winning streak

Semirara Mining and Power Corp. (SMPC) and its parent company, DMCI Holdings, earned a 3 Golden Arrow award at the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Golden Arrow Awards. Both firms have consistently received this recognition since 2019.

The Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) grants the award to publicly listed companies that excel in following the Philippine Code of Corporate Governance and global best practices promoted by the ACGS.

We remain dedicated to upholding transparency, accountability, and ethical business practices to protect stakeholder value and support sustainable progress.” said DMCI Holdings and SMPC chair, Isidro A. Consunji.

The ACGS assesses companies on areas such as shareholder protection, equitable treatment, strong stakeholder relations, transparency, accountability, and effective board governance.

The awards ceremony, held at the Manila Marriott Hotel on September 19, honored over 100 publicly listed and insurance companies.
