The accolade highlights CPAVI’s commitment to delivering high-quality coconut products and exceptional service to global clients.
CPAVI produces a wide range of coconut-based products, including coconut water, cream, virgin oil, and flour, primarily for export.
“This recognition is a testament to the passion and commitment of our team in delivering consistent quality while contributing to a healthier world,” Noel Tempongko, vice president and general manager of CNPF’s coconut exports business, said in a statement.
He added, “we are thankful to all our partners who have been with us on this journey.” Among the group’s long-time customers is Vita Coco Co. Inc., a global leader in the coconut water category.
The company’s partnership with Vita Coco, which began in 2012, has solidified CPAVI’s position in the coconut export industry. It has been producing for Vita Coco various coconut products and this year, their agreement was expanded with additional supply volume.
This, CNPF said, entailed new capacity, leading CNPF to invest $40 million to acquire and enhance Coco Harvest Inc., a fully integrated facility in Misamis Occidental, Mindanao.
Sustainability remains a priority for CPAVI, with over 70 percent of its power requirements sourced from renewable energy, including an 8.8-MW solar plant and biomass capabilities. The company has also planted more than one million coconut seedlings to support smallholder farmers and ensure industry sustainability.--Ed: CSN
