Security Bank, Euronet partner to roll out co-branded ATMs across PH

Security Bank Corp. has joined forces with Euronet, a global leader in electronic payment services, to roll out co-branded, white label automated teller machines (ATMs) across the Philippines, installing them in commercial hubs and workplaces to offer easier cash access and streamlined payroll services for corporate clients.

The move marks a significant step in Security Bank’s push to bring banking closer to Filipino workers, especially in high-traffic and underserved areas. It also strengthens the bank’s strategy to scale its payroll services by delivering more practical, client-centric solutions.

Lucose Eralil, Security Bank executive vice president and chief operating officer, said: “Through this initiative, we aim to better serve our payroll and corporate clients by offering on-site access to cash, right at their offices. It’s a practical, forward-thinking solution that simplifies everyday banking and brings financial services closer to where they’re needed most.”

Security Bank’s co-branded ATM rollout leverages Euronet’s extensive local infrastructure and its Ren payments platform, an integrated suite that supports real-time financial transactions. The ATMs will be deployed in phases, targeting workplaces, retail centers, and transport hubs to maximize impact.

“This strategic alliance positions the ATM as a key channel for expanding our payroll services, attracting new corporate clients, and delivering faster, more reliable access to cash,” said Myla Untalan, Security Bank senior vice president and head of retail channels. “With Euronet’s wide ATM network, we’re enhancing both reach and service quality for our clients.”

For employers, the initiative offers not just convenience for their staff but also operational efficiency. The ATMs allow for streamlined payroll disbursements and reduced cash handling burdens, making corporate cash management more secure and cost-effective.

“Our partnership with Security Bank, which began in 2018, has grown into a powerful collaboration,” said Sriram Jayakumar, managing director of Euronet Philippines. “The launch of our co-branded white label ATM network is a key milestone, reflecting our shared commitment to innovation and seamless banking services.”

Euronet, which operates one of the world’s largest ATM networks, brings its global expertise to this initiative, helping Security Bank extend its “BetterBanking” promise to a wider audience.

The bank is positioning the ATMs as an essential channel not just for individual transactions but as part of a larger digital and physical network designed to elevate financial access.

By offering clients access to cash where they need it most—on-site at work or at commercial centers—Security Bank aims to attract new payroll accounts and solidify its presence as a trusted banking partner for enterprises across industries. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
