This bi-monthly service improves connections between MCT, part of tycoon Enrique Razon Jr.’s International Container Terminal Services, and key markets in Hong Kong and Taiwan via multiple Philippine ports.
The 1,984 TEU vessel alternates with Wan Hai’s MHT service, which focuses on exporting coconut by-products.
Enhanced schedules and added capacity aim to meet growing export demands from Mindanao’s agricultural sector.

“This new partnership with Evergreen and Wan Hai further demonstrates our commitment to providing enhanced connectivity to Mindanao’s exporters and importers,” Aurelio Garcia, the CEO at MCT, said in a statement.
“As we continue to grow and expand our network, we’re confident that this new service will bring greater value to the region’s agricultural sector and foster economic growth,” he added.
