In a statement, Pru Life UK said this figure places it 8.87 percent ahead of its nearest competitor, further solidifying its market leadership.
The company recorded a 33-percent quarter-on-quarter growth in the fourth quarter of 2024, highlighting its strong performance.
Pru Life UK also led in premium income from variable life insurance at P46.1 billion and renewal premium income from variable life insurance at P36.2 billion.

The company recently introduced PRUMillion Flex, a short-term investment-linked insurance plan, and PRUFlexi Income Fund, which offers potential monthly payouts from global investments.

Additionally, Pru Life UK is set to launch the first Shari’ah-compliant Takaful insurance in the Philippines after securing the country’s first Takaful operator license from the Insurance Commission.
This initiative will provide financial protection to over seven million Filipino Muslims, addressing a long-standing gap in Islamic insurance.
