The company said in a statement that a 23-percent increase in total new business last year, alongside a 23-percent expansion in its customer base, sustains its momentum as one of the country’s fastest-growing digital-first insurance brands.
App adoption fuels growth
Growth was driven by stronger adoption of the Singlife mobile app, with policies purchased on the platform rising nearly three times compared to the previous year.
The surge reflects increasing demand among Filipinos for insurance solutions that are easier to access, more affordable and simpler to manage, particularly through mobile-first experiences.
“Filipinos want insurance that feels simple, affordable and dependable. The growth we’ve seen this year reflects that,” said Lester Cruz, chief executive officer of Singlife Philippines.
“Insurance is ultimately a trust business, and we’re proud that more customers are choosing Singlife as a brand they can rely on for protection that’s designed around real needs,” he added.
Singlife introduced new in-app products tailored to Filipino needs, including Protect From Funeral Cost, which provides cash support to help families manage funeral expenses, and Singlife NextGen, a whole life plan designed to help families build long-term protection across generations.
Partnerships, awards boost momentum
Strategic partnerships also supported Singlife’s expansion. The company worked with major digital platforms such as GCash, Maya and AUB’s HelloMoney, and introduced a payment gateway through Xendit to make insurance more accessible through everyday digital channels.
Singlife’s growth was reinforced by recognition from regional and global award-giving bodies. In 2025, the company earned 11 awards spanning customer experience, mobile excellence, management and digital life insurance innovation.
Among its notable recognitions were awards at the Asian Banking & Finance Awards for Customer Experience Solution, Mobile App and New Fintech Product in the Philippines. It also received honors from the Global Business & Finance Magazine Awards 2025, including Best InsurTech Philippines, Best Customer Experience Solution Philippines and Best Digital Life Insurance Philippines.
Focus on expansion in 2026
Moving into 2026, Singlife Philippines plans to expand geographically and roll out new products designed to address everyday protection needs and longer-term financial goals.
The company will also promote healthier lifestyles through its sponsorship of the Philippine Marathon Majors, a nationwide race series aimed at encouraging Filipinos to invest in both wellness and financial security.
