PAL strengthens Clark hub with Siargao flight relaunch

Philippine Airlines (PAL) reinforces Clark’s position as a key aviation hub with the relaunch of flights to Siargao.

The inaugural Clark-Siargao service, PR 2875, was celebrated with a water cannon salute and a cake-cutting ceremony at Clark International Airport, in Pampanga province, north of Metro Manila.

Operating thrice weekly with an 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400, the new route strengthens PAL’s commitment to growing its Central Luzon network.

Management’s view

“We are proud of this returning service. Our thrice weekly service will provide ease and convenience for residents and tourists in Central and Northern Luzon since there is no need for land travel to Metro Manila to connect to Siargao,” said PAL Express president Rabbi Vincent Ang.

“Residents of the island will be able to explore other parts of the country via our flights out of Clark,” he added.
