The event opened a series of official forum activities at the integrated resort ahead of the closing programs later this week.
NUSTAR will also host the ASEAN Tourism Standard Awards and the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2026 Closing Ceremony on Jan. 31 in partnership with the Department of Tourism.
“We are honored to host the ASEAN Tourism Forum at NUSTAR. This milestone reinforces Cebu’s emergence as a world-class MICE destination, leveraging our exceptional facilities and strategic partnerships to spotlight ASEAN tourism innovation,” Sean Knights, chief operating officer of NUSTAR Resort Cebu, said in a statement.
The reception on Thursdaybrought together regional tourism officials, industry leaders, and partners, highlighting Cebu’s position as a meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions destination.
As the exclusive venue for both events, NUSTAR Resort Cebu is showcasing its large-scale event facilities, including the NUSTAR Grand Ballroom.
The program also features accommodations at Fili Hotel Cebu and NUSTAR Hotel Cebu, alongside integrated retail, dining, and entertainment offerings.
Forum activities include dedicated zones for ASEAN tourism products, media briefings, VIP tours, and curated delegate experiences.
