Bonifacio Capital District (BCD), a new development in Taguig, will rise on a 6.2-hectare property in partnership with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
It will be a mixed-use development, blending residential, commercial, and recreational spaces into a sustainable community, the developer said in a statement on Friday.
Access to Bonifacio Global City
Robinsons Land said BCD will be located near landmarks, including the New Senate Building, major roads like Lawton Avenue, Chino Roces Extension, and the South Luzon Expressway, as well as schools, hospitals, and commercial centers. The district will also be adjacent to the Lawton station of the Metro Manila Subway Project.
Additionally, the planned Bonifacio South Main Boulevard will border the northern perimeter, further improving access to areas like Bonifacio Global City and easing traffic congestion.
New township
The Bonifacio Capital District will embody RLC’s “Live, Work, Play, Inspire” mantra, offering a holistic environment with residential, commercial, office, and recreational spaces, all within a convenient, walkable distance, adhering to the “15-minute cities” concept.
“Robinsons Land is committed to doing our part in nation building as we create sustainable, innovative, and dynamic spaces that enhance the quality of life for the communities we serve,” said senior vice president Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio.
Bases conversion on a roll
“This landmark project is part of the BCDA’s initiative to create sustainable communities for businesses, residents and commuters, while also maximizing our assets’ economic potential,” said BCDA president and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang.
“With the help of RLC, we hope to create a model development for areas surrounding subway and railway stations to be developed within the BCDA’s economic zones and properties,” he added.
