Globe launches iPhone 17 lineup with yearly upgrade option

Globe Telecom, the country’s largest mobile operator, is reviving its “Flagship Forever” program in 2026 as part of a broader push to retain high-value postpaid customers.

The program allows subscribers to upgrade to the latest iPhone every year, reducing churn by keeping the upgrade decision tied to Globe rather than to contract expiry.

The refreshed offer covers Apple’s newest lineup, including the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, bundled with Globe’s postpaid plans.

Instead of paying a large upfront amount, customers spread the device cost through monthly plan charges and return their phone when upgrading.

For Globe, this creates more predictable revenue while lowering the risk of customers switching networks at the end of their contracts.

The telco is reinforcing the program with its network credentials, after being cited by Ookla as the most consistent network for iPhone users in the Philippines in early 2025.

Select plans also include unlimited 5G access for up to 12 months as Globe continues to expand its 5G coverage nationwide.
