The event formed part of the three-day XLounge MNL activation, packed with immersive games, live performances, and exclusive treats for subscribers.
The big picture
The country’s top-performing internet provider introduced the enhanced Super FiberX ULTRA, now its most affordable 1 Gbps plan. The upgrade pushes previous speeds of 800 Mbps to a full gigabit at the same P2,599 per month, giving households higher capacity for data-heavy use.
“We pride ourselves on offering the best residential plans and delivering unparalleled online experiences for our loyal subscribers. With Super FiberX Ultra, households can now enjoy uninterrupted online activities simultaneously without compromising performance,” says JP Aguilar, SVP – consumer business group head.
Between the lines
To widen its range, Converge also launched Super FiberX PRIME, a high-speed plan delivering up to 800 Mbps for P2,099 per month.
The new option targets users who want near-gigabit speeds at a more accessible price point.
Gaming takes center stage
A highlight of the launch was GameChanger EZ, Converge’s most affordable pure-fiber plan built specifically for gamers.
Priced at P1,800 per month and offering up to 400 Mbps, it features the company’s proprietary network gaming prioritization technology—designed to cut latency, jitter, and packet loss.
Endorsing the new plan is actress, cosplayer, and GameChanger ambassador Myrtle Sarrosa, also known as Yuwin.
“Yes, having fast, fiber-powered Internet is important, but what I love about Converge is their network prioritization for us gamers. They make sure we enjoy smooth streaming and lag-free gameplay, which is crucial for winning multiplayer battles,” she shares.
What’s next
Converge sweetened the rollout with limited-time offers. The first 100 GameChanger EZ subscribers receive a free TUF Gaming Mouse and Steam credits. Meanwhile, new FiberX customers nationwide get the chance to win one of 300 Samsung 55-inch QLED TVs through the Christmas to the Power of X raffle.
